Calvin Klein Euphoria Blossom
« on: January 01, 2012, 09:22:51 PM »
From The Perfumed Court:
Quote
Calvin Klein Euphoria Blossom typifies the fresh white florals & musks, A light fresh clean accord that says "my skin only better" scent.

Has anyone tried this? I like fresh scents for everyday and the idea of MSBB (my skin but better) appeals.

I have not tried it, but my first concern would be that it only comes in an EDT version.  Most often that means little lasting power for me, especially with a scent that is light to begin with.  I would almost always rather have something in an EDP instead.

Maybe that wouldn't bother you, however, if you like the scent well enough to reapply throughout the day.  Possibly you could layer it as well.  It does sound quite pretty and I like Calvin Klein scents as a rule.

I am a fragrance novice. What exactly is layering? Just applying some, letting it dry down, then applying more? Or something else?

I'm sorry - Layering is using several products in the same scent, often found in gift sets.  They range from shower gels to body lotions or creams to bath powder.  The idea is to reinforce the scent by using layers of it.

Now that you explain it, layering does sound like a familiar term but, as I said, I'm a novice. Unfortunately, I'm not finding anything except the EDT. No lotions, creams, soaps, powders, etc.

Can you get a sample somewhere?  As I said, most EDT's don't last on me, but once in a great while I find one that does.

Oh, good thought. I could try it from The Perfumed Court to see if I like it and if it lasts long enough to satisfy me.

This was my most recent fragrance purchase and it is WONDERFUL !!
I actually found the scent in a magazine ad (with that smells-like-magazine test sample) but I was so surprised with the great smell that I just had to take a chance.
I'm glad I did.

HI chataround and welcome! Thanks for the upvote on this fragrance. I think I can break my no-buy for samples so I think I'll order this (and probably a few others) from the Perfumed Court, just to try it out. Then, if I like it, I can add it to the bucket wish list I keep for DH so he knows what to get me when he wants to give me a gift.
